This page explains what Steady Harbor's website saves, why, and how to contact us about it. It describes how the website actually works today.
The website request form saves your reply email, business name, existing website address (if you give one), your description of the pages and services you need, whether you're interested in care, your consent to a reply, a status, the owner's private notes, timestamps and, if you happen to be signed in, your account ID.
The support request form saves your reply email, category, subject, message, your consent to a reply, a reference and status, the owner's private notes, timestamps and, if you are signed in, your account ID. A signed-in account can see the reference, subject and status of its own support requests.
The privacy request form saves your reply email, request type, your optional message, your consent to a reply and, if you are signed in, your account ID.
Only the site owner can read these requests. Please don't send passwords, account access, files or payment details through them.
The owner reads each request and replies personally by email. The website doesn't send automatic emails about requests. Project details, such as the written scope and handover, are exchanged by email, not stored on this website.
Steady Harbor previously offered a listing-review service. For people who already have an account, we keep: the account (email address, user ID and sign-in records, through Google sign-in via Foundable); saved batches with listing IDs, titles, links, prices, the short quoted evidence and results; monthly usage counts; and purchase records for subscriptions (product, price, status and account, not your full card number). These stay private to that account. You can export or delete batches in the legacy account area.
The website uses browser storage to keep a sign-in session for legacy accounts and the owner. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's standard request information when a page loads.
Each provider handles data under its own terms and may keep records, such as logs and backups, for its own periods.
Requests are kept as long as needed to handle them and for related operational or legal needs. Saved legacy batches stay until you delete them. Account and purchase records are kept as long as needed to run the account and handle billing. Deleting a batch doesn't delete the account, billing records or records held by providers.
To ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, or with any other privacy question, use the privacy request form. Each request is reviewed by the site owner; sending one does not delete anything automatically. We may need to confirm the request comes from the right person. You may also have rights under the laws where you live, which this policy does not limit.
If what the website collects changes, we will update this page and its date. See also our Terms.
